Symptoms
Many people with gastritis experience no symptoms at all. The most common symptom is upper abdominal pain (pain varies dull to severe). Other symptoms include

Causes

Acute (less severe) is caused as the side effect of few other medications you take (NSAIDs), alcohol consumption.

Chronic is caused due to other medical condition (diesease) in the body, release of antibodies from immune system against the stomach cells, Helicobacter pylori bacterial infection.
- Other causes are coffee, pernicious anemia, bile reflux, chemotheraphy.
