Prevention Tips

Sleep at an altitude that is lower than the altitude you were at during the day.

Eat a lot of carbohydrate rich diet.

Rest, and drink plenty of liquids.

Climb the mountain gradually.

Intake of iron supplements if anemic.

Proper acclimatisation to altitudes of about 2,500m (acclimatisation-adaptation to a new climate, a new temperature or altitude or environment).
