Prevention Tips

  • Avoid problem foods                     
  • Exercise regularly
  • Counselling for stress reduction
  • Eat smaller portions of meals
  • Have more fibre rich food

Watch Out

  • Anal pain or drainage
  • Rectal bleeding and blood in stools
  • Fistulas (usually around the rectal area, may cause draining of pus, mucus, or stools)

When to See Doctor

Consult a doctor if you have
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Diarrhoea
  • Fever with or without chills
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Skin sores or lesions
  • Rectal bleeding
