Foods to be taken
The patient should be under fast in both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Fast may be done on fruit juices
  • Fruit juices should be taken at 5-hour intervals
  • Six ounces of spinach juice mixed with 10 ounces of carrot juice
  • Yogurt and cheese
Foods to be avoided
  • Nicotine
  • Alcohol
  • Spices and condiments
  • Flesh food
  • Chilies

  • Tea and coffee

Hard physical and mental work are to be avoided and breathing exercises, swimming, walking can be undertaken.

  • First of all, try to know the cause of gastritis. If the cause is bacteria take antibiotics, if it is due to some other medication try to avoid/change the medicine
