What is Pediatric Allergic Rhinitis?
Allergic Rhinitis is a reaction that occurs in the nose when airborne irritants (allergens) trigger the release of histamine in the immune system. Histamine causes inflammation and fluid production in the linings of nasal passages, sinuses, and eyelids.It usually occurs when you breathe in something you are allergic to, such as dust, dander, insect venom, or pollen.

The condition is diagnosed by Physical examination of ears, eyes, nose, throat and Laboratory tests include:- Complete and differential blood count
- Serum IgE levels
- Nasal smear
- Skin pricking test
- Antigen-antibody reaction test
