Symptoms

Causes

It is mainly caused by bacteria that cause chlamydia and gonorrhea.
It also occurs due to following reasons:
  • Pregnancy termination
  • Multiple sexual partners
  • Unprotected sex
  • Childbirth
  • Insertion of intrauterine devices (IUDs)
