ABEL 40MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.ABEL 40MG TAB is composed of: AZILSARTAN MEDOXOMIL (40 MG)
Azilsartan medoxomil is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is sometimes given together with other blood pressure medications.

Precautions for ABEL 40MG TAB and its Constituents
- It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication.
- Monitor blood pressure, blood electrolyte levels, and heart or kidney function regularly while taking this medication.
- Before taking azilsartan, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
- Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of severe loss of body water and minerals (dehydration).
- This medication may increase your potassium levels. Before using potassium supplements or salt substitutes that contain potassium, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).
- This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy due to the risk for harm to an unborn baby. Consult your doctor for more details.
- It is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
