ACNEWAR PLUS GEL is composed of: DAPSONE (5.0 %), ADAPALENE (0.1 %)

Dapsone is an anti-infective medicine that fights bacteria. Dapsone is used to treat dermatitis herpetiformis (a skin condition) and Leprosy.
Adapalene is a medication used to treat acne. Adapalene is a form of vitamin A and it acts by reducing inflammation and slowing the growth of keratin surface skin cells and this helps to unblock pores and decreases the formation of blackheads and pimples.
Common side effects includes Skin redness, Skin irritation, peeling and dryness.

Precautions for ACNEWAR PLUS GEL and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of anemia, heart problems, blood disorder, urination problem, liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, severe lung disease, any allergy, newborn, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause vision problem, dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid exposure to sunlight while taking this medication; otherwise it will lead to sunburn. Take full course of treatment.
Caution should be exercised in the patients with the history of Eczema, Sun burns and allergic reactions.
Avoid exposure to sunlight.
Waxing should not be performed on treated skin.
Avoid applying on make up and moisturizers.
