Overview
ADELPHANE ESIDREX TAB is a Schedule H drug.ADELPHANE ESIDREX TAB is composed of: HYDRALAZINE (10.0 MG), HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE (10.0 MG), RESERPINE (0.1 MG)
Hydralazine is a vasodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in your blood vessels to help them dilate (widen). This lowers blood pressure and allows blood to flow more easily through your veins and arteries. Hydralazine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide) is a thiazide diuretic (water pill) that helps prevent your body from absorbing too much salt, which can cause fluid retention. HCTZ treats fluid retention (edema) in people with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, or kidney disorders, or edema caused by taking steroids or estrogen. This medication is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
Reserpine lowers blood pressure by slowing down your nervous system. This allows your blood vessels to relax and dilate (widen), which helps your heart beat more slowly and improves blood flow. Reserpine is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Reserpine is also used to treat agitated psychotic conditions such as schizophrenia.
