Overview
AMPLUS CAP is a Schedule H antibiotic.AMPLUS CAP is composed of: AMPICILLIN (250.0 MG), CLOXACILLIN (250.0 MG), LACTOBACILLUS (60.0 MILLIONCELLS)
Ampicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that fights bacteria. Ampicillin is used to treat or prevent many different types of infections such as bladder infections, pneumonia, gonorrhea, meningitis, or infections of the stomach or intestines.
Cloxacillin is a Beta lactam antibiotic. It is a type of pencillin antibiotic as it prevents the synthesis of bacterial wall, resulting in its death. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections that are resistant to pencillin.
Usage

How Do I Take It?
AMPLUS CAP is generally taken Before Food.Precautions for AMPLUS CAP and its Constituents
Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Take this medicine with a full glass of water. Take ampicillin on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal.
Before taking cloxacillin tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or you have any other allergies.
Use with caution in patients with kidney and seizure disorder.
Symptoms of Overdosage
CLOXACILLIN over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing, VomitCommon Side-Effects

Food Interactions
The absorption of cloxacillin may reduce due to the presence of food and effectiveness of antibiotic is reduced. Cloxacillin should be administered one hour before or two hour after meals. This makes easier for the body to absorb the antibiotic.
