ASUNRA 100MG TAB is composed of: DEFERASIROX (100.0 MG)

Deferasirox binds to iron and removes it from the blood stream. Deferasirox is used to treat iron overload caused by blood transfusions in adults and children at least 2 years old. Deferasirox is also used to treat chronic iron overload syndrome caused by a genetic blood disorder in adults and children who are at least 10 years old.

Precautions for ASUNRA 100MG TAB and its Constituents


Do not take antacids that contain aluminum, such as amphojel, Gaviscon, Maalox, MI-acid, Mylanta, Rulox, and others. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of cancer, blood or bone marrow depression, decrease in platelets, vision problem, hearing problem, infection, dehydration, kidney, liver, or stomach problem, elderly, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor liver and kidney function, blood protein and iron levels, vision, hearing, and complete blood cell counts regularly while taking this medication.
