CLOFAZ 100MG SOFTGEL is a Schedule H1 drug.CLOFAZ 100MG SOFTGEL is composed of: CLOFAZIMINE (100.0 MG)
This medication is an anti-inflammatory agent, prescribed for leprosy with other drugs. It is also used to treat reactions to anti leprosy drugs. It has been used investigationally in combination with other antimycobacterial drugs to treat Mycobacterium avium infections in AIDS patients. Clofazimine should be taken with food or milk. When this medicine is used to treat “flare-ups” of leprosy, it may be given with a cortisone-like medicine.

- It may cause dizziness, drowsiness. Do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
- It may cause a red to brownish black discoloration of skin, mucous membranes and secretions.
- Avoid direct sunlight, wear protective clothing, including a hat. Also, wear sunglasses.
- Caution needed for patients with GI symptoms, liver and kidney damage and during pregnancy.
