COBAFORTE CD3 PLUS TAB is a Schedule H drug.COBAFORTE CD3 PLUS TAB is composed of: METHYLCOBALAMIN (1500 MCG), VITAMIN D3 (1000 IU), CALCIUM CARBONATE (500 MG), ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (200 MG), CHROMIUM PICOLINATE (200 MCG), BENFOTIAMINE (150 MG), INOSITOL (100 MG), PYRIDOXINE (3 MG), FOLIC ACID (1.5 MG)
Calcium is a mineral that is found naturally in foods. Calcium is necessary for many normal functions of the body, especially bone formation and maintenance.Calcium carbonate is used to prevent or to treat a calcium deficiency.This medication is used to treat symptoms caused by too much stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is an antacid that works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach.
Pyridoxine is vitamin B6. Vitamins occur naturally in foods such as meat, poultry, nuts, whole grains, bananas, and avocados. Vitamin B6 is important for many processes in the body.Pyridoxine injection is also used to treat some types of seizure in babies.Pyridoxine taken by mouth (oral) is available without a prescription. Injectable pyridoxine must be given by a healthcare professional. It is important for the breakdown of protein, fats, and carbohydrates from foods.

How Do I Take It?
COBAFORTE CD3 PLUS TAB is generally taken With Food.Precautions
- Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Check the label of your calcium carbonate product to see if it should be taken with or without food.
- Swallow the calcium carbonate regular tablet with a full glass of water.
- The chewable tablet should be chewed before you swallow it.
- Shake the oral suspension (liquid) well just before you measure a dose. Measure liquid medicine with the dosing syringe provided, or with a special dose-measuring spoon or medicine cup.If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.Use the calcium carbonate powder as directed. Allow the powder to dissolve completely, then consume the mixture.
- Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking any multivitamins, mineral supplements, or antacids while you are taking calcium carbonate.
- Do not take calcium carbonate within 1-2 hours of taking other medicines. Calcium may decrease the absorption of the other medicines.
- Should be taken after 2 hours of eating foods rich in oxalic acid (spinach and rhubarb), phosphate (bran), or phytinic acid (whole cereals).
- Consult a doctor if you have Higher than normal levels of calcium in your blood Mild to moderate problems with your kidneys (Kidney stones or Kidney failure).
- You should not use pyridoxine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it.
- Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.
- Follow all directions on your prescription label.
- Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Do not Use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions about any restrictions on food, beverages, or activity.
- Folic Acid is used for the treatment of folic acid deficiency.
- It is also taken before and during pregnancy to decrease the risk of defects in the neural tube, which forms the spinal cord in the baby.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures as you may need a higher dose of the seizure medicines than what you normally take.
- You should not use this medication if you have ever had an allergic reaction to folic acid.Take folic acid exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not take it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Follow the directions on your prescription label.
- Take folic acid with a full glass of water.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions about any restrictions on food, beverages.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with history of long-term infection, seizure disorder, liver problems and kidney dialysis.
