Overview
DAZIT M TAB is a Schedule H drug.DAZIT M TAB is composed of: MONTELUKAST (10 MG), DESLORATADINE (5 MG)
Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies. Montelukast is used in asthma prevention and sneezing and runny nose due to allergies. Montelukast is also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (narrowing of the air passages in the lungs) in adults and teenagers who are at least 15 years old and are not already taking this medicine for other conditions. Montelukast is also used to treat symptoms of year-round (perennial) allergies in adults and children who are at least 6 months old. It is also used to treat symptoms of seasonal allergies in adults and children who are at least 2 years old.
Desloratadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body. Desloratadine is used to treat the symptoms of allergies, such as sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose. It is also used to treat skin hives and itching in people with chronic skin reactions.
