DEFUNG TAB is a Schedule H antibiotic.DEFUNG TAB is composed of: TINIDAZOLE (500.0 MG), MICONAZOLE (100.0 MG), CLOTRIMAZOLE (20.0 MG)
Tinidazole is an antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body.Tinidazole is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, such as infection of the intestines or vagina. It is also used to treat certain sexually transmitted infections.It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Miconazole is an antifungal medicine that fights infections caused by fungus.Miconazole buccal is a pill placed between your check and gum to treat candida (yeast) infections inside the mouth.
It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. This treats your infection.
Clotrimazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.Clotrimazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections.Clotrimazole is used in the treatment of fungal infections.Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human.

How Do I Take It?
DEFUNG TAB is generally taken With Food.Precautions for DEFUNG TAB and its Constituents
- You should not use this medication if you are allergic to tinidazole or metronidazole.
- Do not take tinidazole during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
- Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.Some infections are treated with only one dose. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
- Do not share this medication with another person, even if they have the same symptoms you have.
- If you are treating a sexually transmitted infection, make sure your sexual partner seeks medical attention to be treated also.
- Take this medication for the full prescribed length of time. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared.
- Tinidazole will not treat a viral infection such as the common cold or flu.
- Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking tinidazole and for at least 3 days after your treatment ends.
- Check the label of the products and other medicines you use, such as mouthwash or cough and cold medicines. Alcohol in these products can also cause a reaction if you use them while taking tinidazole.It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
- Tinidazole may cause live bacterial vaccines to not work as well. Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication.
- Follow all directions on your medicine label and package.You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to miconazole (Monistat, Vusion, and others) or if you are allergic to milk proteins.
- Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- The usual dose of this medicine is one tablet each morning for 14 days in a row.
- Brush your teeth before putting in a buccal tablet.
- Make sure your hands are dry before handling the tablet.
- Do not chew or swallow the buccal tablet. Leave it in place until the next morning.
- Avoid touching or pressing the tablet while it is in place.
- You may eat and drink normally while the tablet is in place, but avoid chewing gum.If any pieces of the tablet remain in your mouth the next morning, rinse your mouth with water before using a new tablet.
- Avoid wearing an upper denture if it gets in the way of the buccal tablet.Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Avoid contact with your eyes.
- You should not use clotrimazole topical if you are allergic to it.Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Do not take by mouth. Clotrimazole topical is for use only on the skin.Wash your hands before and after using this medicine, unless you are using it to treat a hand infection.Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of the cream (usually twice daily) for 2 to 4 weeks.
- Your doctor has prescribed Clotrimazole to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
