DEXASONE INJ is composed of: POLYETHELENE GLYCOL (500 MG), BENZYL ALCOHOL (9 MG), DEXAMETHASONE (2 MG), PROPYL PARABEN (0.2 MG)
Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. DEXASONE INJ is generally taken With Food.Precautions for DEXASONE INJ and its Constituents
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver, kidney, intestinal or heart disease, diabetes, under active thyroid, high blood pressure, mental illness, myasthenia gravis, joint inflammation, eye infection, seizures, tuberculosis, ulcer, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor blood glucose level in diabetic patients regularly while taking this medication.
