DIPROP TAB is composed of: DIAZEPAM ( ), PROPRANOLOL ( )

Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with anxiety. Diazepam is used to treat anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, or muscle spasms. Diazepam is sometimes used with other medications to treat seizures.
Propranolol is a beta-blocker. Beta-blockers affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins). Propranolol is used to treat tremors, angina (chest pain), hypertension (high blood pressure), heart rhythm disorders, and other heart or circulatory conditions. It is also used to treat or prevent heart attack, and to reduce the severity and frequency of migraine headaches.

Precautions for DIPROP TAB and its Constituents



Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart or blood vessel disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, seizures, drug abuse, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption. It may affect blood sugar level; monitor sugar level regularly while taking this medication.
