EMIDAS TAB is a Schedule H drug.EMIDAS TAB is composed of: PIRACETAM (400.0 MG), GINGKO BILOBA (60.0 MG), BETAHISTINE (16.0 MG), VINPOCETINE (5.0 MG)
Piracetam is a nootropic medicine. It works by increasing the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) which improves communication between the nerve cells. It also protects the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen. Piracetam is used in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, dementia in Parkinson’s disease, age-related memory loss, and head injury.
Betahistine used to control vertigo in patients of MENIERE’s disease , the signs of this include vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss or hearing disability. It possibly acts by causing vasodilation in internal ear.

How Do I Take It?

Blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels should be monitored regularly in patients with kidney impairment. Liver enzymes and related parameters must be monitored to assess the liver function during the treatment with piracetam. Caution is required in treating patients with severe heart disease, the elderly or people with bleeding problems or who have recently undergone surgery. Piracetam may cause drowsiness and the user should not carry out skilled tasks such as driving or operating heavy machinery. Abrupt withdrawal of the medication should be avoided.
Consult your Doctor or Pharmacist if you have asthma, nettle rash, skin rash, cold in the nose caused by an allergy, low blood pressure.
