Overview
ESOZ D 30MG/20MG CAP is a Schedule H drug.ESOZ D 30MG/20MG CAP is composed of: DOMPERIDONE (30.0 MG), ESOMEPRAZOLE (20.0 MG)
Domperidone is an anti dopaminergic agent. It is used in treating nausea,vomiting,Gastrointestinal probelms and Parkinsons disease.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach.Esomeprazole is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.Esomeprazole is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid).Esomeprazole may also be given to prevent gastric ulcer caused by infection with helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), or by the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).Esomeprazole is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms.

How Do I Take It?
ESOZ D 30MG/20MG CAP is generally taken Before Food.Precautions for ESOZ D 30MG/20MG CAP and its Constituents
Cautions should be exercised in the patients with the history of kidney or liver disease, Breast cancer,Bowel blockage and any allergic reactions
- Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking it for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention.
- Esomeprazole can decrease magnesium levels in blood. Get your magnesium levels checked regularly.
- You may need a magnesium supplement or need to discontinue your medicine.
- Inform your doctor if you are suffering from osteoporosis as Esomeprazole can weaken your bones by decreasing calcium levels in blood.
- You may need a calcium supplement, preferably calcium citrate. Esomeprazole is a well-tolerated medicine and provides relief for a long time.
- It may take a few days to show its effect. You can take an antacid for a quick relief during this time unless your doctor has asked you not to use them.
- Once you start feeling better, do not stop taking your medicine. Take it for the duration as advised by your doctor
- You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to esomeprazole or to similar medicines such as lansoprazole (Prevacid), omeprazole (Prilosec, Zegerid), pantoprazole (Protonix), or rabeprazole (AcipHex).
- Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Take each dose with a full glass (8 ounces) of water.
- Esomeprazole should be taken at least one hour before a meal.
- Do not crush, chew, break, or open a delayed-release capsule. Swallow it whole.

DOMPERIDONE over-dosage can result in: Dizziness, Confusion, Drowsiness, Irregular Heartbeat, Difficulty BreathingESOMEPRAZOLE over-dosage can result in: Confusion, Body Excessive Sweating, Eyes Blurred Vision, Irregular Heartbeat

DOMPERIDONE : Headache, Breast Pain, Mouth SwellingESOMEPRAZOLE : Diarrhoea, Constipation, Flatulence, Gas, Drowsiness, Head Headache, Nausea, Abdomen Pain, Dry Mouth

DOMPERIDONE : Chest Pain, Irregular Heartbeat, Dizziness, Fainting, Loss Of BalanceESOMEPRAZOLE : Muscle Pain, Joint Pain, Lupus, Magnesium Deficiency, Hives, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Weight Gain, Fever, Frequent Urination, Dizziness, Unusual Taste In Mouth
