ETOFORD P 60MG/325MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.ETOFORD P 60MG/325MG TAB is composed of: PARACETAMOL (325.0 MG), ETORICOXIB (60.0 MG)
Paracetamol is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. The exact mechanism of action of is not known. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as a headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. It relieves pain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint.
Etoricoxib is used for pain relief. It relieves pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis.Etoricoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Precautions for ETOFORD P 60MG/325MG TAB and its Constituents
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of asthma, bleeding problems, growths in the nose, heart, kidney or liver disease, liver inflammation, high blood pressure, chickenpox, anxiety, trouble in sleeping, ulcers, stomach problems, stroke, Kawasaki syndrome, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption. It should not be used in children with infections such as flu, chickenpox or viral infections. Avoid
- It can be taken with or without food.
- Etoricoxib may cause fewer stomach problems as compared with other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen.
- It can also affect kidneys or cause permanent kidney damage if taken for a long time.Etoricoxib can raise your risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke.
- Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
- Drink adequate fluid to avoid dehydration.
- Stop the medication immediately if gastrointestinal lesions occur.
