Paracetamol is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. The exact mechanism of action of is not known. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as a headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. It relieves pain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint.

While taking this medication
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of asthma, bleeding problems, growths in the nose, heart, kidney or liver disease, liver inflammation, high blood pressure, chickenpox, anxiety, trouble in sleeping, ulcers, stomach problems, stroke, Kawasaki syndrome, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption. It should not be used in children with infections such as flu, chickenpox or viral infections. Avoid
- You should not use this medicine if you have a stomach ulcer, severe liver disease, porphyria, a bleeding or blood clotting disorder, or if you are allergic to any NSAID.Stop using Butalbital Compound and call your doctor at once if you have: black, bloody, or tarry stools, and coughing up blood or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.Butalbital may be habit-forming. Misuse of habit-forming medicine can cause addiction, overdose, or deathFollow all directions on your prescription label. Never use Butalbital Compound in larger amounts, or for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if the medicine seems to stop working as well in relieving your headache.Butalbital may be habit-forming. Never share Butalbital Compound with another person, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction.
