FURAMIST AZ NASAL SPRAY is a Schedule H drug.FURAMIST AZ NASAL SPRAY is composed of: AZELASTINE (140.0 MCG), FLUTICASONE (27.5 MCG)
Azelastine is a medication used to treat allergy symptoms of nose and eyes. It belongs to the class of Anti Histamines. It acts by preventing histamine release and by blocking histamine at receptors.
Common side effects includes unusual taste, Nose or Eye irritation and Headache.
Fluticasone is a corticosteroid used to treat symptoms associated with asthma, nasal symptoms associated with allergies, and certain skin conditions. Fluticasone is available in different forms.Fluticasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.Fluticasone inhalation is used to prevent asthma attacks. This medicine will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun. Fluticasone inhalation is sometimes used together with steroid medicine taken by mouth.Flovent brands of fluticasone inhalation are for use in adults and children who are at least 4 years old. The Arnuity Ellipta and ArmonAir brands are for adults and children who are at least 12 years old.Fluticasone is used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions, allergy symptoms, skin disorders and oral lichen planus.Fluticasone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Precautions for FURAMIST AZ NASAL SPRAY and its Constituents
It may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Don’t Drive while taking this medication.
- Take with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Dose is decreased or tapered over time.Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use.
- Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
- You should not use the inhalation powder if you are allergic to milk proteins.
- You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to fluticasone.
- Follow all directions on your prescription label.
- Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Do not allow a young child to use this medicine without help from an adult.
- To reduce the chance of developing a yeast infection in your mouth, rinse with water (but do not swallow) after using this medicine. Pay special attention to your dental hygiene.
- Fluticasone can cause cavities or tooth discoloration.
- You should not stop using fluticasone inhalation suddenly. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse.

AZELASTINE over-dosage can result in: Vomit, Head Headache, Ears PainFLUTICASONE over-dosage can result in: Irregular Menstrual Periods, Difficulty Breathing, Fainting, Loss Of Appetite, Fatigue (tiredness)
