Biotin is a form of vitamin B found in foods. Biotin helps the body break down fats, carbohydrates, and other substances. Biotin has been used in alternative medicine as a likely effective aid in treating or preventing biotin deficiency. Biotin deficiency can be caused by malnutrition, rapid weight loss, long-term tube feeding, and other medical conditions. Biotin has also been used to treat seborrhea (skin rash) in babies. However, research has shown that biotin may not be effective in treating this condition. Other uses not proven with research have included treating brittle nails or thinning hair, diabetes, nerve pain, and other conditions.
Biotin provides essential nutrients.
Evening Primrose Oil is used in the treatment of pain relief. The GLA provided by evening primrose oil can be converted directly to the prostaglandin precursor di-homo-gamma-linolenic acid and might be beneficial to individuals unable to metabolize cis -linoleic acid to GLA or those with low dietary intake of cis -linoleic acid.

Folic acid is a type of B vitamin that is normally found in foods such as dried beans, peas, lentils, oranges, whole-wheat products, liver, asparagus, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and spinach.Folic acid helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer. As a medication, folic acid is used to treat folic acid deficiency and certain types of anemia (lack of red blood cells) caused by folic acid deficiency.Folic acid is sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat pernicious anemia. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby’s brain and spinal cord.

Selenium is mineral that is found in soil and occurs naturally in certain foods (such as whole grains, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, and seafood). Selenium is not produced in the body, but it is needed for proper thyroid and immune system function.Selenium is used to treat or prevent selenium deficiency.Selenium has been used in alternative medicine as an aid to treat Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid), and to treat high cholesterol.Selenium provides essential nutrients.

Methionine is an amino acid. Amino acids are the building blocks that our bodies use to make proteins. Methionine is found in meat, fish, and dairy products, and it plays an important role in many cell functions.Methionine works by removing harmful breakdown products of paracetamol in the liver.

Carbonyl iron is an iron replacement product. You normally get iron from the foods you eat. Iron helps your body produce red blood cells that carry oxygen through your blood to tissues and organs.Iron is an important mineral that the body needs to produce red blood cells and keep you in good health.

This vitamin is used to treat or prevent niacin deficiency.

Lycopene is a common carotenoid compound found in fruits, vegetables, and green plants that is responsible for the red color of tomatoes. Other sources include apricot, cranberry, grapes, pink grapefruit, guava, papaya, peaches, and watermelon.Lycopene acts an antioxidant by fighting free radicals in the body. Due to its antioxidant property, it reduces the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
