IBSINORM 2MG TAB is a Schedule X drug.IBSINORM 2MG TAB is composed of: TEGASEROD (2.0 MG)
This medication is a selective serotonin receptor agonist, prescribed for irritable bowel syndrome in women who have constipation as their main symptom. It is also used for treating certain men and women who have a type of chronic constipation. Tegaserod indirectly stimulates the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that can increase the motility of the intestine.

How Do I Take It?
IBSINORM 2MG TAB is generally taken Before Food.Precautions for IBSINORM 2MG TAB and its Constituents
- Do not use tegaserod if you are smoking .
- Do not take this medication if you have diarrhea now or have diarrhea often.
- Tegaserod may cause some people to become dizzy. Make sure you know how you react to tegaserod before you drive, use machines, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are dizzy.
- Caution should be exercised during pregnancy and breast feeding, children less than 18 years.Should not be given to patients allergic to tegaserod or any of its ingredients.
- Should not be given to patients with history of bowel obstruction, symptomatic gallbladder disease, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction or abdominal adhesions.
