IMOSEC M 2MG/125MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.IMOSEC M 2MG/125MG TAB is composed of: SIMETHICONE (125.0 MG), LOPERAMIDE (2.0 MG)
Simethicone is used to relieve symptoms of extra gas caused by air swallowing or certain foods/infant formulas. Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the gut.Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine. It disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.Simethicone treat the symptoms of gas such as uncomfortable or painful pressure, fullness, and bloating.
Loperamide slows the rhythm of digestion so that the small intestines have more time to absorb fluid and nutrients from the foods you eat.Loperamide is used to treat diarrhea. Loperamide is also used to reduce the amount of stool in people who have an ileostomy.It should not be used in patients with dysentery .

How Do I Take It?
IMOSEC M 2MG/125MG TAB is generally taken After Food.Precautions for IMOSEC M 2MG/125MG TAB and its Constituents
- You should not use this medication if you are allergic to simethicone.
- The liquid form may contain phenylalanine. Talk to your doctor before using this form of simethicone if you have phenylketonuriaUse exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Do not take more of this medication than is directed.
- Simethicone works best if you take it after meals and at bedtime.
- The simethicone chewable tablet must be chewed before swallowing.
- Measure liquid medicine with a special dose-measuring spoon or medicine cup. If you do not have a dose-measuring device, ask your pharmacist for one.
- Simethicone liquid drops can be mixed with water, baby formula, or other liquids to make swallowing easier for an infant or child.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any other stomach medicine or antacid.
- You should not use loperamide if you have ulcerative colitis, bloody or tarry stools, diarrhea with a high fever, or diarrhea caused by antibiotic medication.
- You should not use loperamide if you are allergic to it.
- Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.Loperamide is safe when used as directed.
- Take loperamide with a full glass of water. Diarrhea can cause your body to lose fluids and electrolytes.
- Drink plenty of liquids to keep from getting dehydrated.The loperamide chewable tablet must be chewed before swallowing.
- Shake the oral suspension (liquid) before you measure a dose. Use the dosing syringe provided, or use a medicine dose-measuring device (not a kitchen spoon).
- Avoid drinking tonic water. It can interact with loperamide and may cause serious heart problems.
- Avoid becoming dehydrated by drinking plenty of fluids.
- Avoid vigorous exercise or exposure to hot weather if you are dehydrated.Loperamide liquid may contain alcohol. Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how loperamide will affect you. Your reactions could be impaired.
- Do not take this drug if you are severly constipated.
