INTAPROST T 0.03%/0.5% EYE DPS is a Schedule H drug.INTAPROST T 0.03%/0.5% EYE DPS is composed of: BIMATOPROST (0.03 %), TIMOLOL (0.5 %)
Bimatoprost is a prescription eye drop used to treat an eye condition called glaucoma. It is also used to treat a condition called ocular hypertension (higher than normal pressure inside the eye), which can lead to glaucoma. May cause your eyes to turn brown as well as cause the eyelid to darken. Bimatoprost is also available as a prescription medication used to grow eyelashes, and to make them longer, thicker and darker. Bimatoprost belongs to a group of drugs called prostaglandins. It is thought to work by increasing the amount of fluid that flows out of the eye in order to lower the pressure.
Timolol is a beta-blocker that affects the heart and circulation Timolol is sometimes given with other blood pressure medication.It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body such as epinephrine on the heart and blood vessels.

Precautions for INTAPROST T 0.03%/0.5% EYE DPS and its Constituents
- Bimatoprost ophthalmic may cause a gradual change in the color of your eyes or eyelids and lashes, usually an increase in brown pigment. You may also notice increased growth or thickness of your eyelashes.
- Before using bimatoprost, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or to similar drugs (e.g., latanoprost, travoprost) or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as preservatives like benzalkonium chloride), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
- Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of eye problems (e.g., macular edema, iritis, uveitis, lens extraction/aphakia).
- If you develop an eye infection or injury, or have eye surgery, check with your doctor about the continued use of your current bottle of bimatoprost. You may be advised to start using a new bottle.
- This drug may cause temporary unstable vision. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can perform such activities safely.
- Bacterial keratitis (a serious infection of the cornea that can quickly lead to blindness) can occur in people who use eye drops. Sometimes it is caused by accidental contamination of the eye drop bottle by the users, particularly in people who have corneal disease. Prevent contamination. Never touch the tip of the bottle with your eye, hands, or any other surfaces.
- You should not use timolol if you have asthma or other breathing disorders, or a serious heart condition such as heart failure or COPD.
- You should not use timolol if you are allergic to it.
- Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results.
- Do not use timolol in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Your blood pressure will need to be checked often.
- You should not stop using timolol suddenly. Stopping suddenly may make your condition worse.
- If you are taking timolol to prevent migraine headaches: It may take 6 to 8 weeks of daily use before timolol is fully effective.
- Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
- It may affect blood sugar level, monitor sugar level regularly.
