INTEGRILIN 0.75MG/1ML INFUSION is a Schedule H drug.INTEGRILIN 0.75MG/1ML INFUSION is composed of: EPTIFIBATIDE (0.75 MG/ML)
Eptifibatide is an antithrombotic agent, prescribed for the treatment of patients with acute coronary syndrome (heart condition), and those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), and stenting (placing of a cylindrical device within vessels). It prevents platelets in the blood from sticking to each other.

Precautions for INTEGRILIN 0.75MG/1ML INFUSION and its Constituents
- Discontinue in case of serious uncontrolled bleeding, or if emergency surgery or thrombolytic (drugs are used in medicine to dissolve blood clots) therapy is required.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with liver impairment, platelet counts <100,000 mm3, bleeding in the eye, drugs affecting blood, pregnancy.
- Check APTT [activated partial thromboplastin time or ACT(activated clotting time) prior to sheath removal during angioplasty.
- It may lead to severe kidney impairment, inflammation of blood vessels, bleeding in the eye, acute pericardial inflammation ( inflammation of the covering of the heart)or aortic dissection (splitting of the layers of the aorta leading to formation of outpouchings).
- You may bleed and bruise more easily while you are using this medicine. Be extra careful to avoid injuries until the effects of the medicine have worn off. For some patients, this may take about 2 or 3 days. For other patients, it may take longer.
- Check with your doctor right away if you notice any unusual bleeding or bruising, black, tarry stools; blood in the urine or stools; or pinpoint red spots on your skin. Avoid picking your nose. If you need to blow your nose, blow it gently.
- You may be told to use a soft toothbrush or to shave with an electric razor (not a razor blade) for a few days after you have been given this medicine. This helps reduce the risk of bleeding.
- Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor. This includes prescription or nonprescription (over-the-counter [OTC]) medicines and herbal or vitamin supplements.
