KEFLOR CAP is a Schedule H1 antibiotic.KEFLOR CAP is composed of: CEFACLOR (250 MG)
Cefaclor is a cephalosporin (SEF a lowspor in) antibiotic. It works by fighting bacteriain your body.Cefaclor is used to treat many kinds of bacterial infections, such as bladder infection, ear infection, skin infection, or infection of therespiratory tract.Cefaclor is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in seriousbacterial infections of various body parts like urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, blood, brain and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery.Cefaclor is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body.It will not work for viral infections (e.g., commoncold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of anyantibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness

How Do I Take It?
KEFLOR CAP is generally taken With Food.Precautions for KEFLOR CAP and its Constituents

Your doctor has prescribed Cefaclor to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.Discontinue Cefaclor and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.

Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn’t stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- If you’re on blood thinners, Cefaclor can interact with your medications and increase your bleeding tendencies.
- Youshould not use this medication if you are allergic to cefoxitin or to similar antibiotics,such as cefdinir (Omnicef),cefprozil(Cefzil),cefuroxime(Ceftin),cephalexin(Keflex),and others.
- The liquid form of cefaclor may contain sucrose. Talk to your doctorbefore using this form of cefaclor if you have diabetes.
- Followall directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Cefaclor works best if you take it with a mealor within 30 minutes of a meal.

Do not crush, chew, or break an extended-releasetablet. Swallow it whole.Use this medicine for the full prescribed length of time.

Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared.

Skipping doses may also increase your risk of further infection that isresistant to antibiotics.

Cefaclor will not treat a viral infection such as the flu or a common cold.
