Overview
LORFAST AM TAB is an Over-the-counter (OTC) drug.LORFAST AM TAB is composed of: AMBROXOL (60 MG), LORATADINE (5 MG)
This medication is a mucolytic agent, prescribed for various respiratory diseases such as emphysema with bronchitis pneumoconiosis, chronic inflammatory pulmonary conditions, tracheobronchitis (respiratory tract inflammation), bronchiectasis, bronchitis with bronchospasm asthma. Ambroxol is used for clear mucus from lungs.
Loratadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Loratadine is used to treat sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other cold or allergy symptoms.

Caution needed for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Avoid excess dosage.
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney disease, and epilepsy. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
