LOW-DEX EYE-DPS is a Schedule H drug.LOW-DEX EYE-DPS is composed of: BORIC ACID (1.2 %), DEXAMETHASONE (0.05 %), SODIUM TETRABORATE (0.06 %), PHENYLEPHRINE (0.001 %)
Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Dexamethasone is used to treat many different inflammatory conditions such as allergic disorders and skin conditions. Dexamethasone is also used to treat ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, and breathing disorders.
Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose). Phenylephrine is used to treat nasal and sinus congestion or congestion of the tubes that drain fluid from your inner ears called the eustachian (yoo-STAY-shun) tubes.
