Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Meloxicam is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis in adults. Meloxicam is also used to treat juvenile rheumatoid arthritis in children who are at least 2 years old.

Precautions for MEL OD 7.5MG TAB and its Constituents


Caution must be exercised in patients with history of GI disease, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, fluid retention or heart failure, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor patients with advanced renal disease. It may cause dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting. Do not drive a car or operate machineries while taking this medication.

MELOXICAM over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing, Abdomen Pain, Vomit

MELOXICAM : Back Pain, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Eyes Blurred Vision, Abdomen Pain, Cough, Chills, Dizziness, Head Headache, Irregular Heartbeat, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Nausea, Throat Soreness, Loose Motion, Eyes Yellow Eyes

MELOXICAM : Head Headache, Weight Gain, Fatigue (tiredness), Ankles Swelling, Nausea, Vomit, Abdomen Pain
