MELCOVIT-GOLD CAP is a Schedule H drug.MELCOVIT-GOLD CAP is composed of: VITAMIN A (5000 IU), VIT D3 CHOLECALCIFEROL (400 IU), ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (100 MG), CALCIUM PHOSPHATE (93.2 MG), VITAMIN C (75 MG), PHOSPHORUS (72 MG), SELENIUM (60 MCG), NIACINAMIDE (50 MG), CHROMIUM (50 MCG), MAGNESIUM OXIDE (40 MG), VITAMIN E (15 IU), INOSITOL (15 MG), CYANOCOBALAMIN (10 MCG), ZINC OXIDE (10 MG), RIBOFLAVIN (5 MG), THIAMINE (5 MG), MANGANESE SULFATE (2 MG), PYRIDOXINE (1.5 MG), FOLIC ACID (1.5 MG), COPPER SULFATE (0.5 MG)
Cyanocobalamin is a man-made form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. Cyanocobalamin is used to tret vitamin B12 deficiency in people with pernicious anemia and other conditions.
Folic acid is a type of B vitamin that is normally found in foods such as dried beans, peas, lentils, oranges, whole-wheat products, liver, asparagus, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and spinach.Folic acid helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer.As a medication, folic acid is used to treat folic acid deficiency and certain types of anemia (lack of red blood cells) caused by folic acid deficiency.Folic acid is sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat pernicious anemia.
