MICROSHIELD ANTISEPTIC CONC T-SOLN is a Schedule H drug.MICROSHIELD ANTISEPTIC CONC T-SOLN is composed of: CETRIMIDE (15 %W/V), CHLORHEXIDINE (7.5 %V/V)
Cetrimide is used to prevent infections.Cetrimide is an antiseptic which treats infection in the affected area and relieves irritation.
Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic that fights bacteria. Chlorhexidine topical (for the skin) is used to clean the skin to prevent infection that may be caused by surgery, injection or skin injury.

Precautions for MICROSHIELD ANTISEPTIC CONC T-SOLN and its Constituents
- Do not use cetrimide for a long period and repeatedly as it may cause allergic reactions.
- Cetrimide is for topical use only. Avoid contact with mucous membrane such mouth, nose, ears, anus, or vagina.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you develop severe allergic reactions.
- Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve or worsens after cetrimide application.Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- Excessive usage may increase the risk of allergic reactions.
Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, rectum, or vagina. If this does happen, rinse with water. Avoid using other medicines on the areas you treat with chlorhexidine topical unless your doctor tells you to. Avoid getting this medicine on your clothing or other fabrics.
