Doxylamine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Doxylamine is used to treat sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other cold or allergy symptoms. Doxylamine is also used as a short-term treatment for sleep problems (insomnia).

Pyridoxine is vitamin B6. Vitamins occur naturally in foods such as meat, poultry, nuts, whole grains, bananas, and avocados. Vitamin B6 is important for many processes in the body.Pyridoxine injection is also used to treat some types of seizure in babies.Pyridoxine taken by mouth (oral) is available without a prescription. Injectable pyridoxine must be given by a healthcare professional. It is important for the breakdown of protein, fats, and carbohydrates from foods.

It will make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of asthma, shortness of breath, chronic bronchitis, or other breathing problems; glaucoma; ulcers; difficulty urinating (due to an enlarged prostate gland); heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or an overactive thyroid gland; elderly, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • You should not use pyridoxine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it.
  • Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.

  • Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
