Overview
PRETOR M is a Schedule H drug.PRETOR M is composed of: METHYLCOBALAMIN (1500 MCG), ALPHA LIPOIC ACID (200 MG), PREGABALIN (75 MG), PYRIDOXINE (3 MG), FOLIC ACID (1.5 MG)
Pregabalin is an anti-epileptic drug, also called an anticonvulsant. It works by slowing down impulses in the brain that cause seizures. Pregabalin also affects chemicals in the brain that send pain signals across the nervous system. Pregabalin is used to treat pain caused by fibromyalgia, or nerve pain in people with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy), herpes zoster (post-herpetic neuralgia), or spinal cord injury. Pregabalin is also used with other medications to treat partial onset seizures in adults and children who are at least 4 years old.
Pyridoxine is vitamin B6. Vitamins occur naturally in foods such as meat, poultry, nuts, whole grains, bananas, and avocados. Vitamin B6 is important for many processes in the body.Pyridoxine injection is also used to treat some types of seizure in babies.Pyridoxine taken by mouth (oral) is available without a prescription. Injectable pyridoxine must be given by a healthcare professional. It is important for the breakdown of protein, fats, and carbohydrates from foods.

It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby’s brain and spinal cord.

How Do I Take It?
PRETOR M is generally taken With Food.Precautions for PRETOR M and its Constituents
Dosage should be reduced in patients with kidney disease. Use with caution in patients with heart failure since it can cause peripheral edema and weight gain. It may cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or handle machinery after taking the medicine. Caution should be advised to patients with decreased platelet counts and bleeding disorders, irregular heart rhythms, during pregnancy and breast feeding.
- You should not use pyridoxine if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it.
- Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.
- Follow all directions on your prescription label.
- Do not use this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Do not Use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions about any restrictions on food, beverages, or activity.
- Folic Acid is used for the treatment of folic acid deficiency.
- It is also taken before and during pregnancy to decrease the risk of defects in the neural tube, which forms the spinal cord in the baby.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures as you may need a higher dose of the seizure medicines than what you normally take.
- You should not use this medication if you have ever had an allergic reaction to folic acid.Take folic acid exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not take it in larger amounts or for longer than recommended.

- Take folic acid with a full glass of water.
- Follow your doctor’s instructions about any restrictions on food, beverages.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with history of long-term infection, seizure disorder, liver problems and kidney dialysis.
