RANISPAS DV 40MG/150MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.RANISPAS DV 40MG/150MG TAB is composed of: RANITIDINE (150.0 MG), DROTAVERINE (40.0 MG)
Ranitidine belongs to a group of drugs called histamine-2 blockers. It works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces. Ranitidine is used to treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. It also treats conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Ranitidine also treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions in which acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus, causing heartburn.
Drotaverine is a anti spasmolytic drug used to relive spasmodic pains. It is used in conditions of smooth muscle spasm, peptic ulcer, spastic constipation, control and prevention of pain and dysfunction due to smooth muscle spasms.

Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase the risk of damage to your stomach. Caution should be exercised in patients with

- Take drotaverine tablets 20 minutes before a meal to relieve or reduce post meal symptoms.
- Consult your doctor before you start drotaverine if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
- Stop taking drotaverine and consult a doctor, if experience severe allergic reactions.
- Due to possible side effects such as dizziness and vertigo resulting from hypotension, you should avoid driving or using machines.
