RELISEAL KIT 0.5ML is a Schedule H drug.RELISEAL KIT 0.5ML is composed of: APROTININ (3000.0 KIU/ML), THROMBIN (500.0 IU), FIBRINOGEN (70.0 MG)
Aprotonin is an Broad spectrum protease inhibitor which modulates the inflammatory response. It prevents blood loss.
It is used in treatment of hemorrhage.
Thrombin is used in the treatment of bleeding.Thrombin is a chemical that fastens the process of clot formation and stops bleeding.

Precautions for RELISEAL KIT 0.5ML and its Constituents
Caution should be exercised in the patients with the history of Heart surgery, Kidney or Liver disease, Allergy and Hypersensitivity reactions.
- Use thrombin as ordered by your doctor.
- This medicine must not be given as a shot. It can be deadly if given as a shot. Talk with the doctor. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of infection, any allergy, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- For external use only.
- Patient may develop with increased risk of infections such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease; if it is so consult with your healthcare provider.
- Do not take if you are allergic to thrombin or any of its ingredients.
- Do not take if you have severe reactions to human blood products.
- Do not give to patients with severe or brisk bleeding from the arteries.
