SOFRADEX F CREAM is composed of: CLOTRIMAZOLE (1 %W/W), FRAMYCETIN SULPHATE (1 %W/W), DEXAMETHASONE ACETATE (0.1 %W/W)

Clotrimazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.Clotrimazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections.Clotrimazole is used in the treatment of fungal infections.Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human.

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid hormone (glucocorticoid) which works on immune system to help reduce itching, swelling and inflammation. It is used to treat conditions such as allergic reactions, certain skin and eye conditions, breathing problem, arthritis, problems with blood and bone marrow, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, hormone or immune system disorder,  certain bowel disorders and certain cancers.

How Do I Take It?

SOFRADEX F CREAM is generally taken After Food.

Precautions for SOFRADEX F CREAM and its Constituents


  • You should not use clotrimazole topical if you are allergic to it.Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Do not take by mouth. Clotrimazole topical is for use only on the skin.Wash your hands before and after using this medicine, unless you are using it to treat a hand infection.Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of the cream (usually twice daily) for 2 to 4 weeks.
  • Your doctor has prescribed Clotrimazole to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.


Consult your Doctor or Pharmacist if you have Diabetes, this drug may make it harder to control blood sugar levels. Taking alcohol while using this drug may make you more dizzy. Don’t  take this if you have any fungal infection in your body, it may worsen the infection. Caution your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to this drug. Don’t have any vaccination or immunization, live vaccines may cause serious complications.
