Overview
TRICOZOL EAR DPS is a Schedule H1 antibiotic.TRICOZOL EAR DPS is composed of: CLOTRIMAZOLE (1.0 %W/V), BECLOMETASONE (0.025 %W/V), GENTAMICIN (0.3 %W/V)
Clotrimazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.Clotrimazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections.Clotrimazole is used in the treatment of fungal infections.Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human.
Beclomethasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Beclomethasone inhalation is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. This medication will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.
Gentamicin is a prescription medication used to treat certain serious infections that are caused by bacteria such as meningitis (infection of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord) and infections of the blood, abdomen (stomach area), lungs, skin, bones, joints, and urinary tract. Gentamicin can be used topically to treat eye and skin infections. Gentamicin can cause kidney damage and hearing loss. Patients should be closely monitored while receiving gentamicin. Gentamicin belongs to a group of drugs called aminoglycoside antibiotics. Gentamicin can also cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how gentamicin affects you.

Precautions for TRICOZOL EAR DPS and its Constituents
- You should not use clotrimazole topical if you are allergic to it.Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Do not take by mouth. Clotrimazole topical is for use only on the skin.Wash your hands before and after using this medicine, unless you are using it to treat a hand infection.Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of the cream (usually twice daily) for 2 to 4 weeks.
- Your doctor has prescribed Clotrimazole to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
