Magaldrate is an antacid and alkalizer. Magaldrate is used in the treatment of acidity, intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.


Diazepam is a benzodiazepine. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with anxiety. Diazepam is used to treat anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms, or muscle spasms. Diazepam is sometimes used with other medications to treat seizures.

How Do I Take It?

ULPANE 2.5MG/5MG/400MG TAB is generally taken Before Food.

Precautions for ULPANE 2.5MG/5MG/400MG TAB and its Constituents


Do not take it for more than 2 weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor. Avoid Magaldrate, if  you show signs of appendicitis or inflammed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea, vomiting). Please consult your doctor. Do not take the Magaldrate at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines. It may interact with other medicines.


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart or blood vessel disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid gland, diabetes, seizures, drug abuse, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption. It may affect blood sugar level; monitor sugar level regularly while taking this medication.
