VICARD T 2MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.

VICARD T 2MG TAB is composed of: TERAZOSIN (2.0 MG)

Terazosin is in a group of drugs called alpha-adrenergic blockers. Terazosin relaxes your veins and arteries so that blood can more easily pass through them. It also relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Terazosin is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), or to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of prostate cancer, chest pain, heart disease, kidney or liver problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption.

TERAZOSIN over-dosage can result in: Dizziness, Fainting

TERAZOSIN : Lightheadedness, Fatigue (tiredness), Nausea, Drowsiness, Eyes Blurred Vision, Head Headache

TERAZOSIN : Irregular Heartbeat, Ankles Swelling, Weight Gain

TERAZOSIN : Skin Rash, Difficulty Breathing, Body Itching, Face Swelling

TERAZOSIN can interfere with: Hypotension, Syncope, Neuropathy, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Acute Liver Failure
