Precautions

Precautions should be exercised in patients with kidney impairment dehydration.
Hearing evaluations should be conducted  at the start of and at regular intervals during treatment.
It may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Dont drive while taking this medication.

CAPREOMYCIN over-dosage can result in: Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Ringing In Ears

Common Side-Effects

CAPREOMYCIN : Depression, Hearing Loss, Tinnitus, Black (tar) Colored Stools, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Chills, Cough, Fever, Loss Of Appetite

Serious Side-Effects

CAPREOMYCIN : Eosinophilia, Skin Rash, Gums Bleeding, Red Or Black Spots On Fingernails

Rare Side-Effects

CAPREOMYCIN : Hypokalemia, Hypocalcemia, Bartter Syndrome, Classic Form, Skin Irritation

CAPREOMYCIN can interfere with: Cirrhosis
