• You should not use dolutegravir if you are also taking dofetilide (Tikosyn).
• You should not use this medication if you are allergic to dolutegravir.
• Follow all directions on your prescription label.
• Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
• You may take dolutegravir with or without food.
• While using dolutegravir, you may need frequent blood tests.
• HIV/AIDS is usually treated with a combination of drugs. Use all medications as directed by your doctor.
• Every person with HIV or AIDS should remain under the care of a doctor.

Food Interactions

Dolutegravir and multivitamin with minerals should not be taken orally at the same time. Products that contain aluminum, calcium, iron, magnesium and/or other minerals may interfere with the absorption of dolutegravir and reduce its effectiveness in treating HIV infection.
