SAQUINAVIR is a Schedule H drug.
Saquinavir is an antiviral medicine that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in your body. Saquinavir is used together with ritonavir to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Neither saquinavir nor ritonavir will not cure HIV or AIDS.

Precautions

Caution needed for pregnant women, adolescents <16 years, elderly, patients with history of liver or kidney damage, diabetes, group of genetic disorders. It may increase triglyceride and lipid levels. It may affect your blood sugar. Check blood sugar regularly. It does not stop the spread of HIV to others; avoid sexual contact, sharing of needles, or injection supplies. It may cause dizziness or vision problem. Do not drive a car, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous.
