PENICILLIN G PROCAINE is a Schedule H drug.Procaine Penicillin G is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.This medication is known as a long-acting natural penicillin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.This medication should not be used to treat gonorrhea.

How Do I Take It?
Route of Administration: IM (Intra-Mascular)Precautions
- You should not use Penicillin G procaine, if you are allergic to it.
- Use penicillin G procaine as ordered by your doctor.
- Make sure you complete the course even if you start to feel better.
- It is better to take with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn’t stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Discontinue Procaine Penicillin G and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to.
