Overview
ZONISAMIDE is a Schedule H drug.Zonisamide is a sulfa drug with anti-convulsant effects. Zonisamide is used together with other anticonvulsant medications to treat partial seizures in adults with epilepsy.

How Do I Take It?
Route of Administration: OralPrecautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney problems, kidney stones, lung or breathing problems, suicidal thoughts, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid abrupt withdrawal. It may cause dizziness, drowsiness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid exposure to sunlight; otherwise it may lead to heatstroke. It may cause acidosis in patients with kidney problem, breathing problem, and diarrhea; it if so consult with your doctor immediately. Patient may develop with increased risk of suicidal thoughts; watch them carefully. If condition worsens or if the patient experiences skin rash, consult with your doctor immediately. Avoid excess dosage. Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase some of the side effects of zonisamide.Symptoms of Overdosage
