How Do I Take It?
Route of Administration: OralPrecautions
- If you are taking Flurazepam for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks.
- It may become less effective over the time.
- It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery.
- Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Flurazepam, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
- Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. The addiction / habit-forming potential of Flurazepam is very high.
- You should not use flurazepam if you are allergic to it.
- Follow all directions on your prescription label.
- Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
- Take flurazepam only if you are able to get a full night’s sleep before you must be active again.
- Do not stop using flurazepam suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Your insomnia symptoms may return when you stop using flurazepam after using it over a long period of time.
- You may need to use less and less before you stop the medication completely.
