How Do I Take It?

- You should not take meprobamate if you have porphyria.You should not use meprobamate if you are allergic to it
- Follow all directions on your prescription label.
- Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Meprobamate is usually taken 3 or 4 times per day. Follow your doctor’s dosing instructions very carefully.
- Never share meprobamate with another person, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction.
- Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
- This medicine may cause blurred vision and may impair your thinking or reactions.
- Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert and able to see clearly.
