  • You should not take meprobamate if you have porphyria.You should not use meprobamate if you are allergic to it

  • Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Meprobamate is usually taken 3 or 4 times per day. Follow your doctor’s dosing instructions very carefully.
  • Never share meprobamate with another person, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction.
  • Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
  • This medicine may cause blurred vision and may impair your thinking or reactions.
  • Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert and able to see clearly.
