 Enflurane is used for the induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia during surgery and cesarean section and also used for analgesia during vaginal delivery.

How Do I Take It?

Route of Administration: IV (Intravenous)

Precautions

Patient may develop with increased risk of abnormal heart rate/rhythm, monitor patient condition carefully during and after the treatment. Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart, lungs, liver or kidney impairment; elderly, obesity, epilepsy, during pregnancy and lactation. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication. It may cause mental or mood changes, if it so consult with your doctor.

ENFLURANE : Fever, Hallucinations, Irregular Heartbeat, Fainting, Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Head Headache, Nausea, Vomit, Difficulty Breathing, Eyes Yellow Eyes
