Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney or liver problems, heart problems, low levels of potassium or magnesium in the blood, alcohol abuse, epilepsy, depression, myasthenia gravis, jaundice, breathing problem, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Patient may develop with increased risk of neuroleptic malignant syndrome (nerve disorder) with the following symptoms: muscle rigidity, fever, autonomic instability and confusion. If it so consult with your doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption. Avoid excess dosage.
